The signature Chinese restaurant at Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund introduces an unlimited authentic Cantonese and Shanghainese Dim Sum delicacies, presented by master Hong Kong Chef Sam Yuen on Saturdays and Sundays between 11:30am and 2:30pm. Diners can eat as much as they like, starting at RMB 198 per person.
Among the signature dishes are Codfish Dumplings with Nuts. A delicious example of Chef Yuen's creative fusion mastery, the flavorful dumplings are made using silky codfish flown fresh from Northern Europe, black olives from Guangdong province, pine nuts and Italian olive oil. Another must-try dish is the Deep-fried Radish, Lobster and Ham Paste, featuring fresh lobster, a luxurious ingredient rarely seen on dim sum menus. The signature Baked Egg Custard Tarts are made with sea duck eggs, hand-picked by the chef in Guangxi province, which are lower in cholesterol and offer an added level of flavor.
